About our alumni
DCAD Alumni are an elite group of artists and creative professionals who have gone on to do incredible things. Alumni have transferred on to complete their BFAs at institutions such as Pratt Institute, the Corcoran College of Art and Design, Maryland Institute College of Art, University of the Arts, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Savannah College of Art and Design, Ringling College of Art and Design, Tyler School of Art, and The Cooper Union. DCAD Alumni have enjoyed internships at the New York Post, the New York Library for the Performing Arts, MTV Networks, Rogue Dragon/NY and Pier 59 Digital Studios. DCAD alumni have worked on Cartoon Network's Superjail, Wonder Pets on Nickelodeon, and animated pieces for the Animal Collective's "Brotherhood" music video. They are working in New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. They have worked at The Center for Art in Wood and Museum of Contemporary Photography, Disney Interactive Media Group, Stag and Hare, Clive Davis Mann, Slate, Discover Care and Saatchi & Saatchi. To celebrate this amazing group, DCAD has started to grow the DCAD Alumni Association and host events just for alumni. The College would like to hear about what is happening with alumni — school, jobs, travel, families, etc. — and also be updated when contact info changes. To contact DCAD with your alumni news or hear about what's happening at 600 N. Market Street, contact Sara Ganter, Director of Development, at sganter@dcad.edu
