Graphic Design Certificate
Whether your interests are in traditional publishing or digital communications, the Graphic Design Certificate provides students with the creative and technical skills needed to compete in these exciting industries.
This program is particularly well suited for current graphics professionals who are eager to upgrade their computer skills, production artists or programmers seeking career advancement, individuals working to establish their own business, and creative young people looking for a way to enter the profession. The majority of classes are taught on the Macintosh platform, the industry standard for graphics professionals. There are several classes available on the PC platform. It is not possible, however, to complete the program entirely with classes on the PC platform.
Students must complete the Graphic Design Certificate, consisting of a series of six- and twelve-week courses, within three years. The recommended sequence is listed below; however, students may take courses in any order provided they meet the necessary prerequisites.
