The Edgar A. Thronson art library houses a collection of more than 13,000 books, videos, sound files, digital images, electronic resources, as well as subscriptions to art and design periodicals. The collection of art and design resources supports and supplements DCAD's intellectual and artistic goals; with particularly strong collections in animation, art history, fine arts, graphic design, illustration, interior design, and photography. The Delaware College of Art and Design Library is located at 600 North Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware on the third floor. The Library is open to students, faculty and staff of the College. We are open to the public for reference and research Monday thru Friday by appointment. Our collection is focused primarily on fine and applied arts in support of the curriculum and includes books, periodicals, videos, DVDs and sound files.
