Experimental animator and filmmaker to instruct unique watercolor workshop! Oct. 5th, 2- 4 pm.

In concert with the animation-themed exhibit, ‘ Still Moving’, Delaware College of Art & Design hosts a watercolor workshop by artist, animator, and educator, Will Kim. The Center for Aquatic Studies will provide live animals for the event. All materials are provided. Registration required.  The event will be held October 5th, 2- 4 pm.

Appropriate for ages 14 and up. Limited space is available. This workshop will be a two-hour drawing class held in the lobby of DCAD. However, all levels of expertise with artmaking are welcome. Please, be aware that birds, reptiles, and aquatic animals will be present for the duration of the event. It is expected that all materials and participants be treated with respect for the safety and enjoyment of all.

Will Kim is an animator and filmmaker based in Los Angles. Kim employs watercolor techniques n his films to highlight the color, texture, and movement of the natural world. He has exhibited his artwork both in the United States and abroad in film festivals, museums, and public television. 

Kim is also an instructor at Riverside Community College where he teaches animation.
